INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Fund is to focus on long term capital appreciation
whilst keeping portfolio risk and volatility low.
The
fund is appropriate for investors with a long term investment horizon
or; first time investors who are not familiar with the dynamics of the
market.
The fund will also be suitable for investors seeking exposure to a well
diversified portfolio but either limited by the amount of funds
available or the time to administer their investment decisions.
FUND TYPE
Purchase of equity will be limited to stocks that make up the Vetiva –
60. The Vetiva – 60 comprises of the sixty most capitalized and
frequently traded stocks listed on the Daily Official List of the
Nigerian Stock Exchange.
INVESTMENT STRATEGY
Investing
predominantly in Vetiva – 60 stocks trading at a significant discount to
their intrinsic value, relying on an asset allocation matrix based on
Vetiva proprietary tools to achieve optimal results.
Deploying
a defensive mechanism to ensure capital preservation within market
cycles. However the overall target portfolio objective is to outperform
the NSE All-Share Index.
SECTORAL ALLOCATION
Sectoral Weightings will be influenced by the Vetiva-60 Index weighting
reviewed on a quarterly basis. Tactical deviations from the Vetiva - 60
sector weightings will be allowed based on the relative outlook for the
various Sectors.
VALUATION
The fund will be valued on a weekly basis and reported on a monthly
basis. Monthly statements will be available via the Vetiva Website.
