Mr. Ade Odunsi graduated with a BSc. Honours
Degree in Economics from the Essex University, United Kingdom. He is an
Associate Member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of England,
Wales and Nigeria. He commenced his working career as a trainee
Chartered Accountant at BDO Stoyhayward’s London Office, where he rose
to the position of Assistant Manager. In BDO Stoyhayward, he was
involved in Financial Auditing, Contract Negotiation, Management
Buy-Outs and also played a critical role in the development of internal
control and reporting systems within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Subsequent to a stint as Internal Auditor at the National Audit
Commission, in the United Kingdom, Mr. Odunsi moved to the Isle of Man’s
offices of Sahara Energy Resource Limited to serve as the pioneer CFO
with the overall responsibility for the Finance, Internal Control &
Strategy Directorate where he continues to handle tasks involving
raising lines of credit, price exposure risk management and hedging on
major international petroleum exchanges. He joined the board of Vetiva
in June 2005.
